Secondary Sales

Secondary sales are additional services such as Personal Training packages or sessions, spa memberships, childcare, or other member engagement programs such as nutrition or meal plans. These secondary services can be sold to existing club members as upsells.

You can track secondary sales separately from the primary (membership) sale. Tracking secondary sales allows you to understand the total lifetime value of a sale, correlate each sale to the right salesperson, and accurately report on your sales. You may have as many secondary sale types as you wish.

Add a Secondary Sale to a Person

When you add a new person, you can select the Action drop-down list to add a secondary sale type. Each sale type has its own section in which you can assign a salesperson and manage the status. Each person may be associated with more than one salesperson based on the secondary sale type.

For example: The new person may have worked with John on both initial membership and Personal Training sales. Alternately, they may have worked with John to sign their initial membership, and then worked with Sally on Personal Training sales.

Note: If a sale type is set to Do not show Not Interested and the person indicated they are not interested in it, that sale type will not appear in the Action list.

The following is an example of how the different sale types could appear.

  1. Membership (Primary Sale Type)
  2. Personal Training (Secondary Sale Type)
  3. Childcare Services (Secondary Sale Type)
