Opt Out of Phone Calls

To allow leads to be opted out of voice calls via the system, you can select the Do Not Call link on the client profile. When selected for a person, you cannot make voice calls with the Dial function or log Call tasks for that lead. The following is an example of the Do Not Call link.

When you click the Do not Call link, the following message is displayed: Are you sure you want to opt-out this person from Call? 

Click Ok to confirm as shown below.

When a lead has been opted out of phone calls, the link will automatically change to a Do Not Call tag as shown below.

If you attempt to log a Call task or place a call to a lead that has opted out of phone calls, the following error message is displayed: Person opted out from receiving phone calls

An example of the error is shown below.

If you need to opt a lead back in to Calls, please contact [email protected]. However, it is recommended and the responsibility of your business to retain proof that the lead has provided consent to be called.
