How to Read the Sales Report
To run the Sales report:
- Click the Reports tab.
- Click Sales.
Sales Report Overview
The Sales report tracks sales won during the given date range. The date attribution depends on which area of the report you are viewing. For this reason, if you want to track lead conversion by channel for leads captured during a specific date range, the Lead Status report is recommended as it tracks conversions based on when the lead was captured.
The following sections provide detailed information about each are of the Sales report.
Filter Options
All filter options are listed below.
Option | Description |
Date from | Start date for date range to display report data for Sales that occurred during the date range provided. |
Date into | End date for date range to display report data for Sales that occurred during the date range provided. |
Tags | Displays only report data related to leads that have a particular Tag applied on their Client Profile. |
Contact Method | Displays only report data related to leads that have a particular Contact Method applied on their Client Profile. |
Source | Displays only report data related to leads that have a particular Marketing Source applied on their Client Profile. |
Report Type | Select Contact Method or Source.

Salesperson | Displays only report data related to Sales that are attributed to a specific user. Attribution is based on the User set as the Assigned Salesperson at the time at which the Status updated to "Sale". If there was no Assigned Salesperson, the Sale is attributed to the User that facilitated the change of status, either by completing an Event with Outcome "Sale", or by manually updating the Status of the Lead on the Client Profile. |
Engagement | Select All, New Leads, or Re-engaged.

An example of the Sales report filter is shown below.
Pie Chart
This chart primarily shows the relative breakdown of leads captured during the date range by Contact Method or Source (depending on 'Report Type' filter). On hover over each slice, the cursor will display what % of leads were converted to "Sale" status for that specific Contact Method/Source. This % does not correspond to the slice's proportion of the chart.
When you hover over a section of the pie chart, additional information is displayed as shown below.
Table 1: Lead Breakdown by Contact Method or Source
The date attribution of this Table is a mix. It will show the total number of leads that inquired during the date range, as well as any that joined (updated to "Sale" status) during the date range regardless of when they first inquired or re-engaged.
Column Definitions
Each column in the first table is defined below.
Column | Description |
Contact Method | When Report Type is set to "Contact Method", this column will display all options for Contact Method based on the Contact Method of the leads who inquired or Re-engaged during the date range. |
Source | When Report Type is set to "Source", this column will display all options for Contact Method based on the Contact Method of the leads who inquired or Re-engaged during the date range. |
Total number of Enquiries | Displays the total number of Leads created (New) and/or that Re-engaged (Re-engaged) during that date range provided (New, Re-Engaged, or All based on the Engagement filter). This will also displays and add to the total the number of people who became "Sale" status during that date range provided, regardless of their initial inquiry (New) or re-engagement date (Re-engaged). |
Number of Sold Memberships | Displays the total number of people who became "Sale" status during that date range provided, regardless of their initial inquiry (New) or re-engagement date (Re-engaged). This will display leads that have only inquired once (New), those who have Re-engaged (Re-engaged), or All, based on the Engagement filter applied. |
% Sold | Percent calculation of the 'Number of Sold Memberships' divided by the 'Total numbers of Enquiries' column. |
Table 2: List of Sales
The date attribution in this report is based primarily on the date on which the sale occurred, irrespective of when the lead inquired. It may reflect leads from months or even years prior, as it only accounts for when the sale happened.
Column Definitions
Each column in the first table is defined below.
Column | Description |
First Name | First name of the person who joined (became 'Sale' status). |
Last Name | Last name of the person who joined (became 'Sale' status). |
Contact Method | Contact Method on the profile of the person who joined (became 'Sale' status). If the Contact Method is changed on the Client Profile of this person, this will be updated dynamically in the report. |
Marketing Source | Marketing Source on the profile of the person who joined (became 'Sale' status). If the Marketing Source is changed on the Client Profile of this person, this will be updated dynamically in the report. |
Date | Date on which the lead became "Sale" status. |
Time | Time at which the lead became "Sale" status; time displayed is based on the Company Settings > General Settings > Time zone. |
Description | Displays any note left in the "Description" when the Sale outcome Event was completed (Walk-in or Booked Tour). |
Salesperson | Attributes the Sale based on the Assigned Salesperson at the time that the person's status updated to "Sale". If no Salesperson is assigned, the Sale is attributed to the user that facilitated the change of status, either by completing an Event with Outcome "Sale", or by manually updating the Status of the Lead on the Client Profile. |

When you download the report, an Excel spreadsheet is created with information from Table 2.
