Merging Marketing Sources

Marketing Sources can be merged to consolidate the number of sources available and what leads are associated with them. This is commonly performed in the case of misspelled, similarly named, or redundant Sources. 

This can help ensure that your reports filtered by Sources, as well as your 'People' tab searches by Sources, are accurately pulling the data needed.  

In the scenario shown below, the source 'Facebook' and 'Facebok' need to be consolidated. 'Facebok' will need to be removed and all leads reassigned to 'Facebook'. 


1. Click the User Menu > Company Settings.

2. Click  Marketing Sources.

3. Click the Merge icon of the Source you want to merge. This is the Source you want to get rid of.

4. Then click the "Merge into' field and select the Source you want to merge into. This is the Source you wish to keep 

6. Tick box to confirm and click Save

Now that the above steps have been completed, the 'Facebok' Source has been removed from GymSales and all leads previously associated with it will now be under Source  'Facebook'.
